Some real buttes
On our way to Lake Powell, we took a side trip trip through Monument Valley, part of the Navajo Nation. It was awesome! The girls recognized scenery from the movie "Cars" and here is where we sawy pictures and Kendall got the idea for her sketch on our t-shirts. We were all looking forward to seeing this area - it is so beautiful. We also learned that many Western movies are shot here because of the beautiful and unique buttes. We took about 400 pictures today, but here a just a few.

MONUMENT VALLEY!!!!!! Oh this brings back such good memories! Yeah, Kendall, wouldn't it be a amazing to paint those? Oh my goodness :)
