So far we have driven exactly 1200 miles at 2:12 pm/CST. We've seen 36 different license plates, we're missing a lot from the northeast, and three Canadian provinces. We've filled the gas tank three times - once in Frostburg, MD, once in Indianapolis, IN, and once in Kingdom City, MO - the least expensive was Frostburg at $2.89 and the most was MO at $3.07 (this fun info is for Andy and Pop!)
As Jean mentioned in her post, we did bring Gumby along on our trip. Gumby is here to remind us all that we need to be flexible. If one of us is in need of a reminder, Gumby spends some time with her, along with a few scripture verses he brought along. It's been great having Gumby along for the ride. Don and Gumby get along great, they have been the most flexible. =)
The sky is getting bigger and we are looking for the amber waves of grain! We may have more pictures posted later if we can catch the sunset over the Rockies!

That was a great idea. who's idea was it anyway? Timothy says "Hi Christiana". He is sitting here with me. Andrews getting his car fixed,Stevens working and Samuels doing something but i'm sure they all say "HI" too. Can't wait to see more pictures.

Well guys, I'm doing my best not to be jealous. You have two things I wish I had on our 3 weeks out west.
(1) A Travel Blog -- to record this adventure while it's happening. You will not regret this. It's been three years and we already have a hard time remembering. Thank God for the pictures but words would have been great also.
(2) GUMBY -- How we could have used this appropriate object lesson. ... OK how I could have used it.
Thanks for the tips for next year. Please continue with your updates. It's fun to live vicariously through you all.
