San Francisco Treat!

San Francisco - the city by the bay, otherwise know as "Fog City" to the Glabs. As the quote credited to Mark Twain says, "The coldest winter I ever spent, was a summer in San Francisco." It was chilly and hilly and we spent two days walking up and down hills and enjoying the big city.

More wet friends

We were walking on the wharf and look who saw us? The Littrells! They were in San Francisco because Mark was running the San Francisco marathon! It was a great treat running into them!

Hey Grandparents - This is Lori Littrell, Christiana's teacher next year for 4th grade!

Ghiradelli Square = Chocolate!

It took us a little while to figure out the trolly system, well the whole public transportation system .... but anyway, we found the end of the trolly line and decided to wait for a trolly. It was a very cold wait ... we waited, and waited, and waited .... the girls came up with creative ways to stay warm.

The trolly came!

And we we're off!

Yes it was chilly - can you see how red Kim's nose is?

Lombard Street - the crookediest street

It was so foggy it was hard to get a good picture of the Golden Gate Bridge, but here it is ...

Just outside Sausalito, we visited Muir Woods to see the coastal redwoods

We've enjoyed our time in California - many, many, memories .... next, we're headed EAST!

We seem so small in a big big world. I'm Sorry it was so cold and foggy for you. It looks like you still saw many wonderful sights. You are doing a great job you should go into buisness! Capturing the whole picture for those who cant be with you! Oh what wonderful memories you are making!
